What Are SafeSiteWatch SMS Alerts?

SafeSiteWatch offers optional SMS (text message) alerts to notify you immediately when issues are detected with your monitored websites. These alerts include website downtime notifications and security breach alerts.

How to Opt In

SMS alerts are entirely optional. To opt in to receive SMS alerts:

• Log in to your SafeSiteWatch account at app.safesitewatch.net
• Navigate to your account settings
• Enter your mobile phone number in the Phone Number field
• Click save to enable SMS alerts
• You will receive a confirmation text message verifying your enrollment

By providing your phone number and enabling SMS alerts, you expressly consent to receive automated text messages from SafeSiteWatch related to your website monitoring service.

Types of Messages You Will Receive

If you opt in, you may receive the following types of SMS messages:

• Site Down Alerts - Immediate notification when your monitored website is unreachable or returning errors
• Security Breach Alerts - Immediate notification when a security vulnerability or data breach is detected on your monitored website
• Confirmation Messages - A one-time message confirming your SMS alerts are active

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on the status of your monitored websites. You will only receive messages when an issue is detected. Typically this ranges from 0 to 5 messages per month, depending on your website's status.

Costs

SafeSiteWatch does not charge for SMS alerts. SMS alerts are included in your subscription at no additional cost. However, standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of SMS alerts at any time by:

• Logging in to your account and removing your phone number from settings
• Toggling SMS alerts off in your account dashboard
• Replying STOP to any SMS message received from SafeSiteWatch
• Contacting us at support@safesitewatch.net or (716) 208-6928

Opting out of SMS will not affect your email alerts or any other aspect of your SafeSiteWatch service.
